i think the average for california (if you're looking for a nice banquet at a country club or hotel) for about 250 guest is around 50-60k.

youcould probably do it for under 30k if you do it chinese banquet style with just the absolute bare minimun

i think it depends where in cali. if you're in the bay area or LA expect to pay alot more than if your in stockon or bakersfield...its all about the cost of the standard of living
