who is responsable for the bridemaids gowns

i was told i was to pay for there gowns but i found there dresses for 49.00 plus they get 20.00 off when i buy my dress 29.00 is not bad heck they spend that on gas for there cars..

The Bridesmaids are responsible for there own dresses. That is one of the reasons you ask them to be in your wedding instead of tell them. If they cannot financially be in the wedding then they should say no. And $29 is a hell of a deal! I got a discount for my girls' dresses and they are still $150
